Opener Overs skizoid synth squeals and oozing satanic atmospheres are underpinned by a gigantic kick drum and mammoth bass line; Placebos raging stabs and macabre melodies build a wall of sound as big as you can imagine, and the fat low frequencies smash through the sonic spectrum to a pumping flow of energy. Closing Knowless slows down momentarily the pace to a trippy vibe, and the result is a black paranoid lullaby.
